Venedikt Erofeev and about Venedikt Erofeev. Comp. Lexmanov O.
Venedikt Erofeev is one of the most mysterious figures in the history of non -certificate Russian literature. It may seem to a wide reader who is familiar with him in “Moscow-Cockerels” that a broom from a poem is the real Erofeev. But is it? There is no unequivocal answer in either the writings of his biographers, nor in the memoirs of acquaintances and friends. The purpose of this collection is to present the little -known pages of Erofeev’s biography and give a cut of the most indicative works about his life and work.
The book includes materials that allow you to see the author of the famous poem from the most diverse prospects: from an autobiography written by Erofeev at the age of sixteen, archival documents, his interviews and correspondence before his works of famous writers (Victor Nekrasov, Vladimir Voinovich, Tatyana Tolstoy, Zinovy Zinika, Viktor Pelevin, Dmitry Bykov) and articles of critics and literary critics, other of whom have already become a philological classic. A significant part of the materials and most of the photographs included in the collection are printed for the first time.
The compilers of the book are Oleg Lekmanov, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the School of Philology of the Faculty of Humanities of the Higher School of Economics, and Ilya Simanovsky, researcher of the biography and work of Venedikt Erofeev.
