The workbook is addressed to schoolchildren who need to tighten literacy. First, the book gives training exercises to repeat the Russian language rules studied by the school program in grades 5-7. Then, syntactic topics studied in grades 8-9 were proposed. Work on them is interspersed with a constant section "Repeat the spelling." Particular attention is paid to such complex topics as punctuation marks in sentences with homogeneous members, generalizing words, separate members of the sentence. And also work is carried out with all types of complex sentences: compound, complex and unionless.

At the end of each topic there is a dictation with a grammatical task. At the end of the book, answers are given to all tasks and exercises.
