Vikinomic. Tapskott D., Williams E.D
On the Hawaiian word “Vika” means “fast”, and the authors clearly describe the variable world of the Internet community, mass or global cooperation, and what these changes mean for business and technology. The most famous example is the Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia, which is written, compiled, edited and re -editing “ordinary people”. The book also discusses the less -known stories of the success of global cooperation, such as Procter & Gamble, BMW, LEGO and a group of niche IT and software companies. The authors argue that, perhaps, we are dealing with the birth of a new era, the Golden Age, similar to Italian revival and Athenian democracy, and give business leaders the idea of the wide possibilities of mass cooperation.
