F1 Sorbet is a very popular series among professional landscapers. It forms a compact neat bush, strewn with quite large flowers for horned Viola (up to 4 cm). Thanks to early, abundant and continuous flowering (from May to September), up to 60 flowers bloom on the bush. The hybrid is ideal for creating a flower carpet in the garden, designing an alpine hill, growing on a balcony or a windowsill. A special national flavor acquires a plant planted in a flower pot, painted under Khokhloma or Gzhel. Prefers light soil. Propagated by seeds and division of the bush. With prolonged cultivation, abundant dump trucks are observed. Seeds can be sown in early spring (from sowing to flowering passes 10-13 weeks) and in the fall, it is preferable from August 10 to September 10. When sowing in the fall, after rooting, leaf outlets are cut off, removing peduncles. To obtain friendly seedlings in spring sowing, seeds are stratified at a temperature of +10 ° C. Viola Horny prefers moderate temperatures, so it is recommended to plant it in partial shade, or in combination with higher plants that protect from overheating. It looks great on a partial alpine slide.
