The series of “Master of Book Illustrations” is designed to introduce readers to the work of the most famous world illustrator artists. The next issue is dedicated to the French lithograph, engraver and illustrator Leon Lebegue (Lebegue, 1863-1944), whose works, undoubtedly, were a model of illustrational art for contemporaries. Such famous and illustrious writers as Anatole France and Maurice Bushor were also inspired by the drawings of the Lebeg and made them the background of their works. This publication includes selected short stories from the collection of Anatoly France “The Holy Clara Klara Klara Klara Klara Klara” and the stories of Jacques Tournebros, as well as the fairy tale of Maurice Bushor about the beauty violet, who conquered the heart of not only a noble robber, but also a villain, nickname Krivoy Nose.
