Vitality. In search of a conceptual character
Phenomenologically obvious: distrust generates cognitive dissonances and war, trust - conformists and traitors. Based on this, the authors explore the possibilities of the “epistemology of distrust” as an instrument that allows us to understand our paradoxically abstract everyday life. The idea of the book is to clarify the prospects of strengthening the vitality of the laity. The phenomenon of vitality is considered here in the horizon of three exalted ideals: worthy and graceful art to live (art de vit); incorporeal event of meaning (confession-therapy); inventions of the original concept (philosophical or scientific idea, revolutionaryly changing the consciousness of contemporaries). The book specifically explores the phenomena of “loneliness” and “laughter”-indicators of the viability of the person, protruding under the mask of an composed conceptual character (repertoire-role set).
