Vorible heat. Rzhevskaya E.
for a recent student, and from February 1942-the front-line translator Elena Kagan, Martiyen City Rzhev, became "a fate, a literary name, inexplicable pain." From the then entries on the go, living impressions heard from the soldiers, from the village old women and children, from captured Germans, the story “The Middle Applications” was born.
“Vorified heat” - the result of post -war thoughts: writer Elena Rzhevskaya constantly returned to the experience, to the fate of people met at that time. She sensitively reacted to how the memory of the war was “native”, how they are squeezed out of the public field, not corresponding to the official rite of attempts to comprehend the experienced. This is evidenced by the complementary collection of the page of the 1962 diary (published for the first time), interviews and essays.
