The new and last book Bitov’s book “In Waiting for Autumn” is the next chapter in the author of Pushkinia.

Bitov analyzes Pushkin texts in terms of his desire to fulfill his creative mission. According to Bitov, the idea and the need to write everything conceived was formed by Pushkin by about the 1824th year. That the next 12 years, up to his death, he realized consistently, noted in all genres, even inventing new and everywhere reaching the peak. The escape from everything and all for the sake of creative realization and inner freedom - this was also characteristic of Bitov himself.
