The protagonist of the story decides to fulfill his cherished children's dream and goes through all of Siberia to the Arctic Ocean. Getting into difficult situations, he finds friends among the Evenks, Yakuts, descendants of Russian explorers, Yukagirov, Chukchi and, thanks to their help, reaches not only the ocean, but also the Chukchi nose.
