The book examines the phenomenon of the armed resistance of part of the population against the establishment of a post -war device in the Balkans countries. The work is preceded by an extensive chapter about the events of World War II in the Balkans, who served as a prologue for the stormy post -war years. That decade in Yugoslavia. Romania, Albania and Bulgaria rebel were anti -communists, and in Greece a local Communist Party waged a partisan war. An important role in the strengthening of the rebel was played by foreign intervention (the West in the pro -Soviet territories of the USSR and the Allies in Greece). The tactics of the rebels and the methods of anti -Partican actions of the authorities give abundant grounds for typological constructions and the study of the history of partisan tactics. The book is written on the basis of archival sources and memoirs of participants in events.
