The series of books “Classical Library for Drawing” includes rare ancient publications that have both cognitive and bibliographic value. This collection on watercolor technique is a reprint of three textbooks of the past; books “Washing in Mascara” and “Watercolor” from the signature magazines “Art for all” 1915-1916 by the authorship of the teacher of pedagogical courses at the Imperial Academy of Arts Vasily Autonomovich Lepikash, as well as the publication “On Watercolors or Painting Water Paints” Pavel Alekseevich Markov, which is reprinted According to the 2nd edition of V.P. Plotkina, S. -Petersburg, 1884. All three works were successful and held out several reprints and are rightfully considered one of the best classical textbooks on the development of watercolor painting at the beginning of the 20th century. Currently, they continue to be actively used as an authoritative source by watercolor painting and are a valuable manual for students of art schools and self -education. The book reproduces color illustrations, in stages showing work on a watercolor pattern. In addition to the watercolor, washing is sorted out.
