This story is based on real events that occurred in a regular California school in the 1970s. In order to convey to students the basic principles of the functioning of the Nazi regime, the history teacher of Ben Ross creates the “wave” movement. Its ideology is based on a formula borrowed from Hitler Germany. In just a few days, the school is turning into a real micrototalitarian community, whose members are ready to follow their leader with terrifying humility. The situation completely gets out of control, and Ben Ross no longer understands how to put an end to this madness.
