The series of “Master of Book Illustrations” is designed to introduce readers to the work of the most famous world illustrator artists. This publication contains the works of the American artist Newella Converses Wyeth (Newll Convers Wyeth, 1882-1945), who in his life created drawings by more than a hundred books.

In 1911, Waytes began to cooperate with the Charles Scribner's Sons publishing house, What can be called the main event in his life. For the publishing house, the artist designed 25 books, including Daniel’s novel “Robinson Crusoe”, who is famous and loved by everyone who was at least once interested in adventure novels in general. Realistic illustrations by Newella Wyete Conversion are ideally suited to the story of Defoe about the extraordinary adventures of the Robinson Crusoe sailor.
