The reader holds in his hands the second volume of the series of books conceived by the author “lived or served on Petrogradskaya”, that is, essays about people who are somehow connected with the city on the Neva and its historical part - the Petersburg (Petrograd) side. The northern capital began here - the new city founded by Peter I. The first house of the first emperor (since 1721) of Russia was preserved here.
