West and Russia. The history of the confrontation

Various problems associated with the interaction and perception of cultures of the countries of the West and Russia have previously been the subject of research by the author’s collective. In their new work, historians turned to the study of, as they say, the “back side of the coin” - the process of confrontation between the West and Russia.

When and why did Russophobia in the West arise? How did the confrontation between countries begin? And only the differences in mentality, culture, religion, lifestyle, customs and morals explained the confrontation, which often led to numerous conflicts and bloody wars? Is there a peaceful settlement of conflict situations in the inter -civilization space?

The authors of the book addressed these and a number of other questions.
