What you need to know about holy water

All our life next to us, the Great Sanctuary is the Holy Water.

Boarded water is the image of the grace of God: it cleanses believers from spiritual filth, sanctifies and strengthens them to the feat of salvation in God.

We first plunge into it in baptism, when when accepting this sacrament three times we are immersed in a font filled with holy water. Holy water in the sacrament of Baptism washes the sinful impurity of man (including cleanses from the original sin received by inheritance of our common forefather Adam), renews and revives him into a new life in Christ.
