Erna Usland (b. 1951) - teacher and author of art and non -fiction books for children and adolescents from Norway.

wrote a master's dissertation about the nursery literature, taught in primary and high school. In 1987, she debuted with a novel for teenagers Natteramnen.

received a number of literary awards, for example, the Noregs Mollag Award for Children's Literature (1995, 2013) and the Association of Norwegian Critics (1999).
