When Whitney takes her sixteen -year -old daughter Amelia for an overnight stay for a new girlfriend, she does not suspect that their lives will radically change soon. The next morning, Whitney returns to a small house with pink bushes, where she left her daughter, but the door is opened by an unfamiliar elderly woman who assures her that she had never seen Amelia. A distraught and frightened Whitney has to unravel a ball of lies to find a daughter. Does she really know the girl she raised? But not only Amelia has secrets.
