The Roman “White Guard” is a story about the “Time of Troubles”, which fell on his native land, is the story of a civil war, a terrible fratricidal time, the story of the collapse of traditions and foundations, the story of bloodshed, told by the eyes of the Vidzer's eye and a participant in events.
