The events of the novels of the famous writers of Russian emigration Vladimir Shatrov (1898–1927) (“Knock in gold and blood”) and Peter Pilsky (1879–1941) (“Secret and Blood”) are given a strong apocalyptic coloring. The authors conduct a psychological analysis of the generalized type of White Guard terrorists-mostinators of the twenties close to the “strong man” of Nietzsche, but poisoned by reflection. The style of works reflects the influence of modernism. These novels are largely consonant with the famous Dilogy of Boris Savinkov (“Pale horse”, “Horse of the Voronoy”).
