Who to live well in Rus'. Nekrasov N.A.

Nikolai Nekrasov worked on his main poem “To whom to live well in Rus'” for almost twelve years. The history of the publication of the poem was accompanied by numerous censorship bills.

the hero of the poem - the Russian people, wanderers traveling in search of a happy person in Rus'. Happiness, the wealth of privileged classes according to the author is an invariable constant pre -reform and post -former time. Examples of peasant prosperity in the search for “hard -to -face province”, “non -driving volost”, “Izovtkova village” does not find the poet.

The book is opened by the introductory article by Mikhail Makeev’s philological sciences “The Last Poem of Nekrasov”, prepared specifically for this publication.
