Will. Conversations with Dominic de Ru. GOMBROVICH V.
Taking advantage of its fame (international prize of publishers, 1967) and a unique opportunity provided an interview with a French journalist, the outstanding Polish writer Vitold Gombrovich (1904–1969) tried to dispel the misunderstanding of his work. Forbidden in his country and only selectively translated into ten languages, Gombrovich felt the need to consistently connect his work with his life. Being an autobiography and a guide to his works, the interview is followed by the chronology of the writer's work. In this book, Gombrovich retains all his acuity, his humor, his foresight.
The book is an important addition to Gombbrovich's Diary (the most important reading for the formation of an internal person), which we published in 2012 and reprinted in 2021 -M.
