seventeen-year-old Francis Hallowel works as a seamstress and mourns his brother who mysteriously died a few months ago. Everything changes sharply when the boss attacks her. Francis does not understand how his corpse with scissors sticking out of her neck is at her feet...

The police do not have time to accuse Francis of the murder: two nurses come behind her and take her to the Sanatorium "Koldostan" - supposedly because because She is terribly sick.
