Alexander Sergeyevich Griboedov (1795–1829) - Russian playwright, diplomat, linguist and historian, especially famous for his work “Woe from Wit”, who has become a source of many winged phrases that are still used. Katenin and V.K. Kuchelbeker.
Comedy “Woe from Wit” - a satire on the aristocratic Moscow society of the 19th century, exposing all of it, the stanology of its life positions. It combines different literary directions: classicism and only nascent romanticism, designed to show the versatility of the secular circle of serfdom. Two positions are faced on the pages: the Famus society, capable of evaluating only ranks and seniority, and the young nobleman Alexander Chatsky, opposing the inertia and injustice of past generations.
