Alexander Griboedov (1790 or 1795 - 1829) - Russian writer and diplomat who died at the hands of religious fanatics. His life is shrouded in many secrets. The famous comedy of A. Griboedov “Woe from Wit” diverged into quotes, and the names of the main characters became household names and universally recognize the types of psychological characters.

“Woe from Wit” is a storehouse of aphorisms, many of which still help a modern person navigate in life.
