The wayward obstinating Elka was very small when a terrible storm took her to the forest. The harsh hunter, who sheltered the girl, taught her everything that he knew how to put traps, crawl for protein, shoot from a gun and cut game. And then she grew up and found out a terrible secret that smashed the usual life to smithereens. And now she has only one thing-to run, far north, to the gold mines, where her parents once went in search of happiness. It will be a long, deadly and difficult path.
