Words about love. Comp. Naum (Bayborodin), Archimandrite
God is love, and the Lord commanded us to love God and each other. But what is love? What is it manifested in? And how is this one of the three main virtues of Christianity (along with faith and hope) with spiritual life? In this small collection that you hold in your hands, there will certainly be answers to these and other questions. The book was published in memory of the famous and beloved Lavra priest Archimandrite Naum (Baiborodin; 1927-2017). The elder personally compiled many collections from his works and from words, teachings and instructions of the ascetics of piety.
For this work, excerpts were used from the instructions of the Holy Fathers and the works of the priest, his sermons about love for God and his neighbor, about love for the Orthodox Church and prayer. One of the sections of the collection is dedicated to the father’s love for people.
