“The meaning of creativity is in the subtext” - this phrase of Konstantin Sergeyevich Stanislavsky could become an epigraph to all his creative activity. A categorical opponent of both “mossy conservatism” and straining innovation in theatrical art, Stanislavsky advocated for naturalness, the logic of the game, so that the viewer was perceived directly and vividly on the theatrical stages. The famous system of mastering acting, created by Stanislavsky, was presented on the pages of numerous books he wrote and tested in the Moscow Art Theater created at the end of the 19th century.
