A documentary story about the outstanding Soviet specialist intelligence officer, whose name in the 1920-1930s was surrounded by legends in a Chekist environment. In intelligence, he went from an illegal operational employee and resident after Cordon to the creator and head of an independent special illegal unit, which was actively operating almost around the world. His activity has always been accompanied by an increased level of secrecy. It is enough to say that for the first time the materials about the unique reconnaissance operations performed by him appeared in domestic and foreign literature only in the early 1990s, that is, almost 50 years after his death.
