Fantastic novel by Mark Twain, in which the hero, a typical Yankee from the state of Connecticut of the late 19th century, is transferred to medieval feudal England. Thanks to the resourcefulness of the Yankees about the miracles of the industrial era, knights and nobles, sorcerers and monks, beautiful virgins and ordinary people recognize. This novel contains one of the first literary descriptions of time travel.
