This book was written on the basis of the memoirs of the priest Igor Rozin, who was killed on May 13, 2001, on the day of memory of St. Ignatius (Bryanchaninov), the Bishop of the Caucasus, in the North Caucasus in the city of Tyrnyauz in the Church of St. George the Victorious, the first abbot of which he was. Knowing about the danger that he threatened, the priest humbly accepted death. His last words was the prayer that we pronounce every day, and he fulfilled in practice: “I, Lord, betray my spirit into your hands.”
