The daughter of the tsarist colonel Diana Bestuzhev, together with thousands of other emigrants from revolutionary Russia, enters Constantinople, and then, together with his father, moves to the kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes-to the ancient port of the Bakar, who was located in the depths of the picturesque Bakar bay. But here, the wanderings of Diana do not end - it is waiting for the capital of Croatia Zagreb. Meanwhile, the Second World War begins, which flooded the entire territory of Yugoslavia. Suddenly, for Diana, the Communists and partisans from the surroundings of Tito, and then Soviet intelligence establish ties with her. And Bestuzhev is included in the underground work against the Germans, which is becoming more dangerous and jewelry. Diana performs special command tasks. Their goal is to bring the victory over the Nazis and facilitate joint operations of the People's Liberation Army of Yugoslavia and the Soviet troops.
