ZhZL. Mikhail Suslov. Mlechin L.M.
Mikhail Andreevich Suslov was called the "gray cardinal" of the late USSR. Having entered the political life of the country in the prewar years, until his death in 1982 he participated in the adoption of key decisions that determine the life of Soviet people. In the eyes of the whole world, this adamant dogmatic was a symbol of communist ideology, which with his departure was staggered, and then collapsed. Suslov’s personal life, his genuine thoughts and feelings remained a mystery, therefore his biography, the famous writer and TV presenter Leonid Mlechin reconstructs his documents and memoirs of his contemporaries, drawing a portrait of the “main priest” of the Marxist-Leninist cult against the background of his era.
