Although William Genrikhovich Fisher (1903–1971) is the most famous Soviet intelligence officer of the post -war period, not many people know this name. After all, he, a resident of Soviet intelligence in the United States in 1948-1957, went down in history as Rudolf Ivanovich Abel. Most of the biography of the legendary intelligence officer still remains under the heading “Top Secret”. The book, expanded and supplemented by new materials, opens the reader with the maximum possible information about the life and activities of William Fisher.

Working on the book, the author, three times the laureate of the literary prize of the SVR of Russia, the winner of the All-Russian historical and literary prize of Alexander Nevsky, talked with many people who knew William Genrichovich.
