And this is the murder of the German ambassador von Mirbach in 1918, which launched the uprising of the Left Socialist-Revolutionaries against the Bolshevik government (as is commonly believed), the only fact of his biography that is not subject to doubt. The remaining incredible adventures and guises of Blumkin is a Chekist, the organizer of the revolution in Persia, the “dictator” of Mongolia, the seeker of the treasure of Baron Ungern, a military adviser in China, a Soviet intelligence officer in the Middle East, a victim of a beloved woman-are perceived as a mythology created not without him participation. Who was he really - a revolutionary, an adventurer, scout, provocateur, secret agent sent from the USSR Trotsky? Evgeny Matonin, a well -known film documentary, author of the books “Josip Broz Tito”, “Nikola Tesla” (“ZhZL”), made perhaps the first attempt to restore on the basis of preserved documents, historical research of the Russian revolution, memories of the real biofath for this colorful “hero” of his own time that was all the contradictions of the era of great shocks.
