Zinzerling. Zinzerling V.A.

The book presents materials on the history of the unique in the world practice of the Scientific School of three generations of professors-pathologists-zinzerling. Along with the biographical data of Vsevolod Dmitrievich (1890-1960) and Alexander Vsevolodovich (1923-1995), illustrated by their photographs and documents, the main results of their fruitful activity in many positions with indisputable world priority are presented. The first fundamental article by V. D. Zinzerling on pneumonia is reproduced, and for the first time a number of his reports and a transcript of lecture are published.

The numerous difficulties and obstacles are described that had to overcome all generations of the family. The chapter "Roots of the Family" provides information about the ancestors and closest relatives of V.D. Zinzerling, surrounded by which he was formed as a person of duty, a creative person and a researcher, are attached photographs and scans of their works. The head of Alexander Vsevolodovich describes the role of the mother-Vera Alexandrovna Zinzerling-Khalyutina in the formation of his outstanding personality. The chapter “School Today” presents a brief overview of the achievements of the nearest student and son A.V. Zinzerling - Vsevolod Alexandrovich and data about his family. The publication contains 45 in most previously not published illustrations from the family archive.
