Zinaida Hippius was called “Zinaida Beautiful” and “decadent Madonna”, because in her image both the bright and demonic sides of the person merged. The harmony of the individual was simultaneously saturated with tragedy - the subjective reflection of catastrophic time. But she wrote her poems, like a prayer, and considered it the natural state of the soul of any person, perceived her poems as something more personal than prose, and created them precisely for herself in gusts of a certain mood and desires. The collection includes three books of poems of the poetess.
