The textbook was created in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary (Complete) General Education. The textbook will help to implement the idea of ​​including in the 10-11 grades of educational organizations of additional educational courses for the choice of students. The textbook introduces the basics of a figurative-expressing language of design art, different types of design, and the features of the profession of a designer. The study of the composition (on the plane and in volume), the features of the use of color, lines, spots, volume, texture, stylization, as well as different types of design (graphic design, interior design, urban environment, landscape, clothing) will contribute to the development of artistic thinking students , taste, developing one’s own attitude to a variety of cultural phenomena. For each topic, practical creative tasks are proposed (flat and voluminous mocking, creating collages, installations, etc.), as well as design projects that will help to deeply comprehend the educational material, develop the ability to work with a variety of artistic materials and in different techniques ( including on a computer).
