This textbook is the first part of the three -year algebra course for secondary schools. The new edition of the textbook is supplemented and processed. Its mathematical content allows you to achieve the planned learning outcomes provided for by the Federal State Educational Standard. The content of the textbook allows students to give good training in algebra in the volume of a traditional general educational program or program for classes with in -depth study of mathematics. The theoretical part of the textbook is optimal in volume, the material is stated clearly and accurately, the examples considered in great detail and at the same time concisely explain the basic methods for solving typical exercises. The system of tasks broken into headings helps students navigate the methods of activity. The assignments for oral work, ancient tasks and tasks of a higher level of complexity (optional for everyone) are specially allocated in the task material. At the end of the textbook, the item “Tasks for Research” was added, which gives tasks aimed at developing educational and research and creative activities of students. During the implementation of these tasks, the ability of students to search for ways to solve the problem under the guidance of the teacher in contact with classmates, to listen to the opinion of an adult, draw conclusions and generalizations. Also at the end of the textbook a list of additional literature and Internet resources is given.
