The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and implements the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area “Art” in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Education with Intellectual Disorders.

The material of the textbook helps to form skills in perception and understanding of works of art, expand and clarify their ideas about objects of surrounding reality, teaching the ways of image in drawing, modeling, work on application, and also form technical skills of working with different Artistic materials taking into account the capabilities of children.

The textbook presents samples of creative tasks, which should be proposed by students in the form of handout, prepared by the teacher independently or on the basis of materials posted in electronic form of the textbook.

At the end of the textbook, methodological pages for the teacher are placed.
