Atlas is intended as a textbook on the new history of the XVIII century. For students of the 8th grade of a comprehensive school, it is a modern educational illustrated cartographic publication. Each thematic reversal of the atlas contains a set of interconnected informational-methodical materials (basic and additional maps, volume schemes, illustrations, etc.).

Atlas covers in more detail the history of the countries of Europe, Asia, America and Africa in modern times. Illustrative and textual material contains important and interesting information, which is directly related to maps and schemes and, organically complementing the material of the textbook, helps the teacher in explaining historical events, and to the student to more and more fully assimilate the material.
