Atlas and contour maps Grade 5. Geography. Krylova O.V.

A universal educational and methodological kit for geography for the 5th grade (author-O.V. Krylova) consists of a satin, contour maps with practical works and a collection of tasks for working with the atlas. Their main goal is to instill in students interest in geographical knowledge. The content of the materials of the kit is aimed at learning the basics of knowledge about the Universe and Planet Earth, as well as at the formation of their original cartographic skills in them: to determine the sides of the horizon and the mutual position of geographical objects, compose elementary geographical descriptions, compare and classify. Created according to the original author’s methodology in accordance with the “Concept for the Development of Geographical Education in the Russian Federation”, the kit is characterized by novelty, versatility, and aiming at the development of creativity in schoolchildren.

The textbook meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and is approved by the methodologists.

Russia in the Atlas is represented within new borders: with Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
