The universal educational and methodological kit for geography for the 6th grade (author-O. V. Krylova) includes the Atlas “Geography. The initial course ”, a collection of tasks for working with the atlas and contour maps with educational tasks. The main task of the proposed kit is to develop students' interest in geographical knowledge, the formation of practical skills in working with various types of geographical information. The content of the materials of the kit provides a further deepening of students' ideas about planet Earth and its shells, about the nature of Russia, about working with plan and map. Original educational tasks contribute to the consolidation of the material completed, the formation of students in creative principles, the ability to work in a group. The proposed educational-methodical kit, created in accordance with the “Concept of the Development of Geographical Education in the Russian Federation”, is distinguished by novelty and at the same time approaches all school programs and geography textbooks. The textbook meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and is approved by methodologists.
