Atlas Grade 5. Geography. Krylova O.V.

Atlas in geography for the 5th grade (author-O.V. Krylova) has the main goal-to instill students in interest in geographical knowledge. The content of the atlas is aimed at students assimilation of the foundations of knowledge about the universe and planet Earth, as well as at the formation of the original cartographic skills in them: to determine the sides of the horizon and the mutual arrangement of geographical objects, compose elementary geographical descriptions, compare and classify. Created according to the original author’s methodology in accordance with the “Concept of the Development of Geographical Education in the Russian Federation”, Atlas is characterized by novelty, versatility, and aiming at the development of creativity in schoolchildren. Atlas meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and is approved by methodologists.

Russia in the Atlas is represented within new borders: with Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
