Atlas in geography for the 7th grade (Author-O.V. Krylov) was developed in accordance with the “Concept of the Development of Geographical Education in the Russian Federation” and is aimed at mastering students of universal educational actions, including cognitive ones. The study of the materials of the Atlas will significantly expand the volume of students' knowledge about the nature and population of the Earth, about the geographical characteristics of continents and oceans.

In this atlas, much attention is paid to checking the skills of working with various types and sources of geographical information. Atlast approaches all school programs and geography textbooks, meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and is approved by methodologists.

Russia in the Atlas is represented within new borders: with Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
