The manual proposes a system of automation of sound in preschoolers of 4–7 years old, which turns monotonous and monotonous work to consolidate the pronunciation of the sound set by a speech therapist into an interesting game. Simultaneously with the automation of sound, the child improves the reading skill, fine motor skills, and creative imagination develops. Work on the manual contributes to a faster automation of sound in spontaneous speech, the development of phonemic hearing, improving the syllabic structure of the word, correcting the lexical and grammatical structure of speech, consolidating knowledge about the automated sound and the corresponding letter, the formation of the skill of recipe-letter analysis of syllables and words. Automation is carried out according to a traditional scheme in speech therapy. The effectiveness of correctional work is ensured by the use of a number of auxiliary techniques (working with voluminous and flat toys, counting sticks, creating game situations in the lesson). The manual is intended for individual work with the child and addressed to speech therapists, educators of speech therapy groups and parents of children with speech disorders.
