The button batteries are classified in height, diameter, voltage, container, chemical composition. Before buying, look at the name of your power element or requirements from the manufacturer to the device and follow the recommendations below to purchase a similar battery.

The first two letters in the marking indicate the type of element.

• Cr -lithium battery, voltage of 3 V.
• lr-alkaline, 1.5 c.
• sr-silver-toy, 1.55 c.
• PR -Airborne, 1.4 c.

After the letters, three or four digits follow, which indicate the size of the product. The first part (one or two digits) characterizes the diameter in millimeters, and the second - 1/10 mm height. The values ​​are rounded to the whole part. For example:

• CR2016 - lithium element, diameter 20 mm, height 1.6 mm;
• lr621 - alkaline, diameter 6.8 mm, height 2.15 mm.
