The proposed textbook is included in the system of educational and methodological sets "Success Algorithm". It continues the line of biology for the main school “Living nature”, in which all sections of biology are connected by general biological categories, which will maintain continuity when moving from one section to another and create didactic conditions for the formation of systemic thinking of students.

This section is devoted to the study of plants, bacteria, fungi, lichens and contains material for 35 hours of compulsory academic time and material that allows you to build the educational process, taking into account the natural characteristics of the region. The accents were transferred from a detailed description of individual biological objects to the leading system -forming ideas of the course: the uniqueness of the living, the complication of the organization during evolution, and the adaptability to the environment. The knowledge significant for the formation of a common culture and necessary in everyday life is highlighted.
