The manual is written in full accordance with the curriculum and is intended for the effective performance of laboratory work. It is dedicated to the volumetric and complex section of biology - “General Biology” - and contains 10 laboratory works. The collection includes methodological recommendations for the implementation of laboratory work on the course of general biology, comments on the implementation of the practical part of laboratory work and training tasks. The materials of the manual not only arrange students with the necessary biological knowledge in life, but also help to master useful competencies: to independently put an experiment, fix and process results, think logically, make comparisons, conclusions, and develop observation. The materials presented in the collection will help the teacher concentify the attention of schoolchildren on the most complex, significant, key concepts of general biology, as well as check the volume and quality of knowledge acquired by a student using diagnostic materials. The presence of tasks in the OGE format will help prepare ninth graders for this form of final certification.
