The working part of the knife is made of cermet (tungsten carbide), a plastic case (polypropylene).

Application: place a knife or scissors with a cutting edge of the blade up, draw a knife on the blade several times through a notch. Move the knife in one direction, starting from the handle of the linked tool, slightly pressing. Too strong pressure can damage the covered blade. Before the first use and after each use, rinse in running water.
